Grants from the Regimental Association

All serving members of the AGC who contribute to the Regimental Association through the One Day’s Pay Scheme (Service Day's Pay Giving) ) are eligible to apply for financial assistance to help with their personal contributions towards the cost of Adventurous Training, Team Building, Study Days, Seminars, Official Social Gatherings and other events that foster esprit de corps. Grants are also available to help provide comforts and amenities in operational theatres that cannot be provided from other resources.

To apply for a grant please follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Download the Relevant Application Form and the Spreadsheet.

Spreadsheet to list those attending

Step 2:  Complete the Word document with the necessary details.  It is important that the form is fully completed. You must provide the full and accurate costs of the event or adventure training exercise in order that the amount of the grant can be calculated.  The dates of the adventure training exercise are important and must be included.

Step 3:  Make a list of the AGC personnel, who are taking part, on the spreadsheet.  In column A insert the surname of the person for whom you are applying for the grant.  In column B insert their Army number.  No other details are required on the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must be named check.xls.

 CHECK   Have you completed the Application Form correctly?
 Have you completed the spreadsheet ensuring the Army Numbers are correct?
 Have you renamed the spreadsheet check.xls?
 PROCEED  Send the Application Form and Spreadsheet to:
 RHQAGC-GroupMailbox @ mod.uk

Points to Note (All Grants)

Please follow the above steps. This enables the application process to proceed smoothly and eliminates unnecessary work and correspondence. It will help you get your money quicker.

Please ensure you tell us who you are, your unit address, telephone number, email address and who to make the cheque out to.
